You've missed my point.
Firstly it isn't FBHVC who don't regard my MG's as historic; that's the government's position. I have tried, on numerous occasions, to get the tax exemption rolling and my conclusion, having correspended with the government of Gordon Brown, was that his position was based on a personal whim, rather than on sound reasoning. I am told that the present government are sympathetic but in view of the deficit, the matter cannot be given priority. We shall see.
As regards whats in October, that's not in April, what's in April that's not in May
In 2007, I seem to remember we had a nice April and then it rained until August. However, there have been quite a few years, when we've not had a Summer but the Autumn has been rather nice. It's a lottery. The point is that holding Drive It Day in May, would not inconvenience exponents of April to September and would fit in with exponents of May to October. I don't know if there are any June to November people; if there are let's hear from them. If so, I'd say hold Drive It Day in June (Nice long evenings
