Didn't one of the PC mob have one of these? It's a while since I read the mag, so can't remember exactly, but Skoda springs to mind.

Rear looks like a Tatra which I think Sam was restoring, dont remember the front being that ugly though! not seen it in the mag for ages.

That arse end certainly looks a bit Tatraplan but I'm not sure about the front. For Aron, here's what a 1930s Chrysler badge looks like:



The pentagonal one was much more modern.
And a Tatraplan:

These front wings look similar but the rear of this isn't a match and besides; the badge is different.

Looks like the Northern geezer has us all flummoxed. (sp? )
So is the car Europeanish?

Step forward Mr Tractorman it is very much a Skoda - coachbuilt and forms part of the collection of the Museum Skoda - http://museum.skoda-auto.com/ - this vehicle was on the museum stand when it exhibited at a Paris classic car show Retromobile in February of this year (we had a great weekend away) - Skoda's automobile manufacture roots goes back a lot further than what most give them credit for - well over 100 years - the museum is brand new and based in the Czech Republic and based on the five cars that were exhibited on the Paris stand is high on our agenda to go and visit.

I am not that sure that any of the PC guys have ever owned one of these but has John deduced that the lines are very similar to Tatra and Sam Glover does own a handful of Tatras in various model styles

Well done, TractorMan! I'm now crossing my fingers and hoping that your obscure vehicle image will reflect your user name.
This forum needs more tractor content ( ) and there are so many extinct, smaller manufacturers that you could keep us all guessing for months with something agricultural.
Why should all of the best classic tractors be on Irish Vintage Scene eh?

The question is which grill does it have up front Rolls Royce or Bentley?
If it's a Rolls then Silver Cloud mk1 as it has that whif about it.
