youtube

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

A friend and fellow collector of quality, 1960s - 1980s radios dislikes eggs (modern boomboxes) so much that he filmed himself in the Mojave Desert, destroying one with a large assault rifle. I couldn't find his film as I think youtube may have pulled it because of the nature of the weapon used, but that's the thing with the internets; you're never more than three minutes from a clip that shows an American person shooting something, so here's a similar film with a much less dangerous firearm:

Die, nasty egg.

Ooh, ooh, how about the ancient art of broomstick flying 8-) :

Linky-pooh.

(Watch for the nod to the penguin scene from "Gregory's Girl" where our broomstick hero's stuffed Tux walks across the passage in front of the sleepy bloke and later climbs onto the settee to give him a cuddle, so proving that even the hardest wizard needs their pussy toy animal  ).

There seem to be lots of videos on youtube of people shooting things with darts from air cannons
3 PCs bite the dust (skip to about 5:10)

I have binned 3 P4s that I found in the storage room this morning, and we have air lines all over the place. it is very tempting to build my own air canon and dispatch the hateful old hardware in a more fitting way (although it was fun dropping them from a first floor window in to a skip, the CRT monitor I found made a really good noise when it landed)

Hmm, properly directed violence can be a force for good so does anyone have an address for Nigel? I'm only making plans for him.

I want the things that project flames. Well has anyone seen a better way to deal with people who stick to your back bumper?
What became of that big bus from the film? I want that too.
But above all else, even above a gas turbine thrust motor for my hovercraft, I want, no, I need this:

GERRITRIGHTUPYE!
Imagine how many tree huggers you could suffocate with that thing, ideal city car I reckon.
