iveco

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

front Wheel has a bit of a wobble, so i took the day off & refixed the front bumper & got the Wheel off checked Bearings suspension & the tyre its gone oval...at least 8mm out of shape, with the edge of the tread gone in places & 2 flat spots... any idea what could cause this.. its still nice to drive :D still waiting for my new Mirror glas that i lost on the steel box bridge at montsoreau....

Maybe someone plugged a puncture and managed to wreck the steel cord when they did the bodge? That'll do all sorts of weird things to tyres.

Are le police hot on white van men? Most of the ones over here seem to be maintained with an annual budget of 11p so are probably still on the factory rubber after 15 years of hard service. ;)

I can't believe that held air, you are very lucky. I hope you have checked all the rest as I assume they are all similar age. How much do le tyres cost over there? Assuming you have been forced to raise your annual maintenance budget and haven't just put a big patch on it ;)
