T Cut is to proper rubbing compound as WD40 is to real penetrating fluid, so I'd guess that it wasn't solely responsible for the bits where the paint went through? It looks fine though, and the rubs add to the plough puller's considerable charm, IMHO.

The worn down areas are from desert sand (Mojave Desert) and aging. It's a 'patina'!

The fact that that wonderful patination is related to sand from an actual desert :o can only be a good thing! I can honestly state that I've never owned a vehicle with that sort of character before, but many of my jalopies have been quite capable of shedding their paint through simple neglect and the price of paint..

Sand, mud, other various paint hating substances. It's got a long history written all over it. I like it that way.

Today I gave the singer a good check over and a nice wash n polish in readiness for the MOT next Friday.
Once that was done, I took the Sony pull out radio out and changed the 3 Duracell batteries that are fitted and allow the radio to be used out of the car. Slight bit of corrosion on the old batteries so I'm glad I remembered to change them.
