First cockup was that the council wouldn't give us the bloody truck in spite of their arrangement about letting other departments use their signage maintenance fleet.
Then my offer was knocked back and adding insult to injury, the thing has been edited since, meaning that it's up now at less than that offer.
I should have left it at that but took a drive down there in my own car, then turned and headed for home when the thing wasn't as it seemed. I'm not going into specifics but let us say simply this: You can't see the caravans, the mountains of mixed scrap or the horses in any of the listing images!

No, I'll stick with the modern for the daily duties. Less hassle and has controls on the steering wheel for that Playstation effect when I can't be arsed using its pedals. In fact there's something strangely enjoyable about bringing a 990Kg car to a halt with a flick of my left thumb!

It comes with its own wildlife and is only 80 yards from the nearest water supply. It's not cheap though, I gave the equivalent of £32 for the place and I'd want to recover every penny of that! (Oh, and foreign nationals aren't allowed to be out unchaperoned between 9pm and 6am, the local plod will confiscate and destroy any device they find that's capable of taking photographs, sh*te beer costs only 11p per bottle but it tends to make you blind eventually and my local equivalent lost an arm to a chainsaw when a student's family decided that he'd handled their complaint against the college in a less than effective way).

No, that activity carries only slightly less serious penalties than they hand down to foreign folk caught using any website apart from the handful that are approved out there. I have nothing but respect and admiration for the indigenous people for putting up with being put down and generally crapped on by the various organisations who all claim to be responsible for law & order, it's a bad place and even the students get into trouble if they're suspected of "adopting the ways of" their foreign tuition staff. I assume that means that they'd be spanked for using Inches in diagrams but might have misunderstood that, maybe it's lighting their farts that has to be avoided?
