I like Brian Johnson in Cars that Rock. His enthusiasm for cars reminds me of the late and very much missed Fred Dibnah. He was a true enthusiast with a passion for steam. Brian is very much in the same mould, tell it as it is and to hell with any one else's opinion

As one who has enjoyed the late Mr Dibnah's televisual treasure for many years, I have to say that I agree entirely. However, to find someone with both the forthright approach and the engineering skills, we would need a sort of Brian Johnson/Guy Martin hybrid. Maybe any genetics boffins reading this could start building such a beast now please?

Yeah, as though I'm waiting! That DeLorean made rather more than the valuation given to the Canadian one which says pretty much what you'd expect about the difference in workmanship between Bernie's and Ant's restorations.
For those who didn't see it, the former was valued by the Stig's Romany cousin at £13,200.

Only £4250 for the unconnected '72 Cinquecento L though? Damn! What would a one-owner, totally original, rust free and 4,000 miles from new (UK market RHD) one be worth then? C/W original crash gearbox, Presspahn brake "self-adjusters( )" and all the other right bits.

Ooh! He's back and he's playing with new MGs. And a bunch of interesting ones too. Phew.
But here the thing; is oor Brian a slaphead under that trademark bunnet? Is it superglued to his swede? Is the famous headwear fitted by the roots? Sure & we all need to know.
The SVS isn't pretty though, nice seats but fugly as sin.

I think that was the last of the series - Wheeler Dealers is on Quest next Thursday, though I'm not sure if it's a repeat or not - I think it's newer as there's a "Fiat Dino" that they bought in Italy - according to the description on Freeview.

There's so many car shows that it's got boring.
