Terry I think John does it just to wind the rest of us up - wanting unavilable fibreglass minis (and when thay are available they are in some far flung country that you cant get them out of), Datsun drive trains that are near extinct etc - personally I think Mr JPB is getting more pedantic in his wants as he gets older - it's time he got a bit more realistic like the rest of us ! (NOT)

My ideal daily old car would still be a subtly modded, automatic Minor and that's not a bucket list entry, just common sense.
