Do you know, that's exactly how I describe it to non-car people who ask what it looks like. I say it's like a "Hitler car"!

Mentioning Hitler or the Nazis in any thread is usually a thread killer.
You could have said a ww2 Merc instead, & used by the German army as a staff car!!

It caused you to post here!! :D

Hitler is a historical fact, no views on the man, or what he did are expressed. If someone wants to refrain from adding to a thread beacuse his name is mentioned, then I have the utmost respect for that person's wishes.

People post if they want to, they refrain if they don't want to. If the moderators deem any content to be inappropriate, they can remove it.

There are plenty of British historical figures who imparted plenty of suffering on nations around the world, not least mine, however, I would never expect that their names not be mentioned on a car forum.

Has it really taken this forum seven months to reach the point at which Godwin's law is mentioned or hinted at?

The same as Henry Ford, Black!
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

The red SD1 featured in "Rita, Sue and Bob too" certainly met that description. :o
