The bonnet catch is fine (other than having hurt feelings after I swore at it) My head now has added glue but is OK following a little drive to a local building where they fix DIY related damage.

Please be careful, the forum without its Terry would be like Arthur without his. Permission to find this mildly amusing on the basis that you survived this time?

Well the Mrs laughed so no reason you shouldn't. it was only a matter of time before some damage was done. I must have bumped my head on it 100 times over the years. Stupid springy thing is a rubbish design! I think I am going to remove it and just drill a couple of holes then use bail wire to keep the bonnet down from now on

i finally repaired the passenger sunvisor on mr 2 cleaned it out again ready for man on tuesday...

If it makes you feel better I drew lots of blood after twatting top of head onto door frame when the seal was off. Funnily enough, the missus laughed too when she saw it, I didn't know I'd actually cut it open!

Today I have been replacing a bracing strut that somewhat embarrassingly fell off my Matra after I went over a speed bump at Scratchwood services on Sunday.

I fitted a new starter to the mog today and now it sounds "modern" when it starts :S I am definitely going to have the old one refurbished and put it back on!

Spent some time 'tweaking' my home made storage drawer for the Wrangler, ready for the winter. The drawer holds all of my recovery equipment, and once it's loaded up with straps and chains (oo-er!), etc it gets quite heavy. So much so i needed to beef up the mounts that hold the sliders (old server rack rails) on.

Still a work in progress, hence the lack of paint.
