I like that second to last one, it looks like the bastard child of an H van and a log cabin. But swing axles on a caravan?

 Not so sure that's wise, maybe it's how they're so rare these days.

I'm guessing that you posted the first two sacks of pooh to make the Acclaim look even better than it already was! ;)

OK, we get the guy's message about the old lady and that she didn't look after it quite as well as she could've done but here a thing that always bugs me about the Acclaim; why is there no such thing as an undamaged bumper on one of these cars? Every Acclaim I've ever seen has at least one area of damage to either or both bumpers. They're square enough to place accurately for parking, there's plenty of glass and all round visibility is almost as good as that found in a Dolomite so how on earth do Acclaim bumpers always end up like that?

Also, could the Acclaim be the oldest car on eBay that's still showing outstanding finance** when a check is carried out? It's possibly a mistake and in any case would well and truly have exceeded its limitation by now, but maybe, just maybe there's a long since retired collections officer from the small claims court who's been trying to hunt out the car for the last 35 years?

i take it you are not too keen on the others then john

as for the acclaim damage, if i remember correctly all nissan micras were recalled due to a bout of slow speed parking accidents, although you could say that about most cars driven by people of a certain age.. ;) go on buy it you know you want it
as for the finance, one of my mates bought a 504 pickup ran it for a few years, the clutch went.. after it was replaced buy his local garage.. about a month later, it caught fire, mate was sad about the truck but furious to find out that the insurance money was paid out to a finance company from many years before  why don't they chase the people that actually owe the debt? or would that be to easy??

 I love an Acclaim, but even when I was well and had a full range of movement they weren't big enough as there's next to no legroom, unless you take the driver's seat off the runners and modify it to go right the way back, after that's been done they have almost enough space.

I don't have any extra holes in my head but that doesn't mean I want one. ;)
