Mornington Crescent, anyone?

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Hi chaps,

Yes on both counts - I was British and yes, I guess design must have been one of the skills I used to do what I did.
Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

Sorry to go back to Marston, the old Sunbeam factory is still standing (just) in Wolverhampton by the ring road. A sad sight. The council would love to flatten it just like anything else with local history! The name Marston can still be found around the town...er sorry city. I believe that Marston Excelsior is part of the John Marston connection. They are still around in name.

Ok H, are you in luxury cars?

Hi Phil, no, my connection wasn't at the luxury end of the market.

Was it at the bicycle end of the market?

Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
