From experience they are slow until you get the revs up then drive like they "should". They do feel like an 80s turbo but with 75% less boost.
Personally I don't see why they can't make the power band smooth but it is what it is.

Have we had one of these yet? Spotted at Tatton Park in May.
1/ Plastic.
2/ Three wheels.
3/ Mini engine and subframe.
4/ Tandem rear seat to straddle.
5/ Mad.
How can John
possibly say no?
P45.

P45, you may have missed the most significant tricycle-related thing:
6/ Tricycles aren't divided into manual and automatic sub categories for licensing purposes so technically, I could drive a manual one and be 100% legal.

I've never been apprehended by her Majesty's finest whilst at the wheel of a tricycle, so my understanding of this loophole may yet prove to be erroneous, but I know more than a handful of Reliant/Lomax/Tri-King/AC Petite/BSA/etc. owners who have been exploiting this rule successfully for years.
Ironically (what else?

) the AP 4 speed two pedal option on transverse A series devices is one of the most pleasant to use and will be fitted - along with a nice, ex-Metro 1275 - into my Cord if it ever finds itself released by those pesky Venezuelan civil servants/law enforcement types.

Because it's uglier than an Edsel sucking a lemon and it won't keep me dry and warm in the winter.
Dammit, there is another good point: 7/ that one is orange.

Cheers Aron, I like the MK2, rarest of the lot and Hydrolastic for that marginally less spine-jarring ride quality. That one looks as though it'll need a large tub of cataloy to get it through an MOT test though.
