Bearing in mind i own a Range Rover:
Land Rover - "One Life, Live It"
Toyota - "One Life, Don't Spend It Mending Land Rovers"
(I spend lots of hours mending my one!)
I have only got about half way through it as I bought it at lunch time, Minxy got a mention, "LuxoBarge" gets one too although maybe not our luxo
So far so good, i love the rolls royce farm car, capri resto is good, rust in peace was a bit thin this issue, the pile of pics must be getting low. The invalid carriage article was intersting, Jags always have a good story and it's nice to see Chris Barry back.
(YAY, no MX5s this issue for a change

)It's going well chaps.

What struck me about the Capri resto was that assuming that the guy bought her on the well known auction website, if the car was not as described that he could have rejected it.He was brave though and he did a great job though, she looks well.

Just got it - what's thsis "KlearKap" distributor thing mentioned in the Technical Archive? Sounds cool! (Also like the way "Technical archive" has been written).
Also P148 - and I've seen this before - is it me, is it badge engineering as my dad thinks, or does that first Triumph 2000 TC look a lot like a Rover P6?

Top mag and I bought it from my local filling station today. Its a proper one (filling station) - the only mags are porn and cars (which is actually my form of porn - don't care for the real stuff)
Read loads already and it's all good.

No they usually rot to dust before spares are needed*
*Not that Landrovers are immune to that either, and yes the Discovery has needed a few square feet of fresh metal welding in...Inner wings what (where?) are those????

Yep, in fact I think they are in denial now
Excellent midget article, 2nd paragraph..... "50 years after the MG Midget Mk1 was launched, 3 decades on from the breeds demise, there has been no front engined, rear drive sports car as small, as simple and as giant killing since."
hmmmm
that aside, excellent article and thoroughly good read.
I loved the CM 1950;s wobfest of an article. wonder how many cars still exist with battery trays made of fibeglass matting and newspaper as the metal continued to rot away
Top Moggie minor engine removal tip, remove front bumper and front panel to make access and removal even easier. years ago a mate and i would get them out by laying a fence post across the front wings, rope round the engine, lift and walk the engine and gearbox out of the car and onto the garage floor. piece of cake.
