it was a rather lovely day too, i was still cutting up & burning the fir trees that were getting too close to the cottage & ugly barn

Hi, I have made some research and noticed that Mustangs, Escorts, VW etc.. where produced in much larger amount ( triple/quadruple...) than the Miata NA. Why is there a general consensus that this model will never be a true classic?

As a general rule "what is a classic" questions are banned as they always cause argument. There is no real definition of what makes a classic car and everyone has a differing opinion. On this forum it seems to work out that if you appreciate it as a classic, you will find other people that do too. If you have a look in the members cars section there are vehicles from the 50s to the 90s and other than some friendly banter everyone will happily chat about everyone elses classic car
