Big Green Bible says EP90 for pretty much everything for everything drivetrain related from front axles, swivels, gearbox and back axle. I had two ex MOD recon boxes a few years back from Craddocks...Pristine, like new ones,(i believe British Rail did the reconditioning ?) Within months they graunched.Both were nailed to a v8, but it wasn't that ,or BR ,it was me ,filling them with smelly EP

However, since following this thread, I now realise that the Land Rover handbook was very much pre GL5 oil and that older EP90 would not have been a problem.
