Oops I meant to say yes it was Kiethley and Worth where the Great Train Robbery was filmed. It was Great Central where 'Buster' was filmed. I was sure it was in one of the railway mags where I read it was GCR that was used for the Great Train Robbery. There is a good website for the programme that gives all the various locations for the filming.

Anybody watch 'Midwifes' the other night and see/hear the Series 1 Land Rover pull up... complete with diesel engine. Surely that was not the only SWB Series 1 that they could find was it?

Haven't watched it yet but might when it comes on here this afternoon. The current series is set across 1958-1959 though, weren't there any Land Rovers around back then whose sweet little IoE petrols had been replaced by various ex-commercial Diesels?

There probably were but this was supposed to be a bomb disposal unit with military plates and they definatley didn't go down the 'oil engine' route.
