At £500 the mog would be a bargain assuming it is a genuine ragtop rather than a converted 2 door. £500 is what I would expect to pay for a ratty 2 door, I suspect you would get interest advertising it at a grand then see what offers you get.
I'm sure there will be some members on here who have a handy copy of minor matters with it's price guide to give a better idea of it's worth.

It is genuine, it has the right chassis prefix of MAT5 indicating convertible 1098cc and also the original bill of sale. Paid for by cheque as it happens
