I've now heard that there are two hundred alledged incidents under investigation and that some of the allegations are against people who are still alive (Presumably in conjunction with Jimmy Saville). If any charges are brought against living people and they are found guilty, does that mean Jimmy Saville can be judged to be guilty, post mortem, if the victim says the abuse was a joint effort :?: I can't help feeling that we may see some judicial precedents set as a result of all this. It's going to take one hell of a lot of sorting out :!:

The Police will, I expect create a crime number for each 'Saville complain'. These crimes once investigated will likely be detected & 'written off' as 'offender known but dead' Nice 'few' 'clear-ups' for those forces involved.................. Cynical old ex-job? Me?

As for any other allegations involving living suspects...... well time will tell!

I heard that the CPS didn't pursue a case (Or cases), that came before them in 2009. This could suggest there wasn't enough evidence but I suppose you could it take two ways. Either there was no case or since he was a "Sir" and generally well thought of, they didn't want to take it further (And hoped after his death, all this would die with him). Certainly there are a lot of people (Like the charities), who are judging Jimmy Saville to be guilty, irrespective of what enquiries are ongoing. Maybe they are right; maybe they are wrong, I certainly don't know :!: I just hope it doesn't start a trend, whereby people make claims against dead people, knowing that they are no longer here to defend themselves.

The charaties know that their income stream will dry up regardless of the outcome of the trial.
Even if he is found innocent his name will always be associated with the accusations.
Michael Jackson was found innocent but the second thing i think of (after the thriller video) is the news report that he was tricking young boys in to drinking wine then getting in to bed with him.

OJ Simpson was found innocent but he is widely thought of as being guilty as sin

One of the people that has made an accusation of sexual harrasment from JS is Sandi Toksvig. Saying that he would grope her while she was working at the beeb. Out of the 300 lines of enquiry there are guaranteed to be some people crying wolf but I can't think of any reason that successful people would want to associate themselves with this if it wasn't true.

The reason why it was hushed up,is because he blackmailed alot of people, especially one fella who confronted Jimmy. The reply he got from Jimmy, was, think of all the people who will effected by the fundraising I do. I'm sure there was a fair few who consented, for example Karin Ward mentioned that she saw Garry Glitter having sex with a 14 year old
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/ ... r-sex.html# But that doesn't mean it is correct,as girls in their teens are vunerable,as they like to know if they can pull.

Yes, but the genuine HIGNFY appearance is available on youtube and genuinely scary in itself. That script is obviously faked up as they've spelt his name the wrong way, with two Ls.

Abducted in the van but his "car" was the discovery perhaps?
