Started stripping the body and filling the dents the car acquired while being stored at a local garage unit

Sprayed the bonnet with primer I’ll leave for a week before spraying the gloss coat

Engine ticking over nicely still a bit of dressing to do once the bodywork has been completed

Holidays next week if the weather is fine I’ll be able to spray the whole car

nice job.. how much heavier is the v6 compared to the 1800 b engine?

Hi Rich

The information on the net i have found so far puts the V6 at 305lb's and the MGB weighs in at 345lb's

The weather down here hasn't been all that good and certainly not good egnough for painting a car,so i cracked on with stripping the alloy wheels i got from ebay

They are now stripped nad ready for a couple of coats of etch primer and some wheel silver

Standard ones are about 150bhp, I think
