I just did a little check on the DVLA (UK version of DMV)website
Looks like I will need to have the car inspected for a report!
I would have just used the recipt from the scrapyard but!!!!
I can't find it and it was over 8 months ago.
expensive and time consuming to what was planned.

Thats more money I will need to fork out! this just got a lot moreDVLA will need written evidence of any changes to engine
number and cylinder capacity (cc). Written evidence can be:
* a receipt for the replacement engine
* written evidence from the manufacturer
* an inspection report provided for insurance purposes
* written confirmation on headed paper from a garage if
the change in engine size took place before you bought
the vehicle
