more modern horseless carriages use this new fangled electricity.. its a great invention no more messing about with those oil fired lamps to light the road!

For the life of me I cannot remember the make of this pick-up. The owner did tell me, and I do know it was one of the Rootes Group, because it looked not to dissimilar to a 1955 Hillman Husky that I once owned. The one thing I do remember was that it's a 1948, something or other. If you have good, young eyes, you might be able to read the manufacturers plaque in the engine bay. What seriously impressed me was the leg room.
