Why am I not having a dig on this occasion? Because whether you're a punk revivalist, a dreadlocked Rasta man in a yellow shell suit from Poundstretchers or a golden geezer who looks grand in revivalist threads & shoes, then not complying with the marketroids' concept of what the population wants is a good thing, IMHO, and never more so than when there's an old motor involved too.
Eccentricity rocks!

what about a scruffy oik with workboots jeans & teeshirt covered in dust? or my other favorite outfit, a boilersuit covered in dust & mud, or when i take wifey out, jeans & tee shirt not covered in dust

That escort should be burnt. Another one for barry boys.
That 3 wheeled yellow thing on the other hand is cool in a weird sort of way.

Aww, poor thing. It's in car prison.
Ooh! Renault 30s.

Shame there's some green thing in the way..
Yellow thing: Bond releases new
Bug MPV.. Bug, but with extra tallness and smaller wheels, for that feeling of stability when you're out ram raiding the local branch of Scope and getting away with a lovely shiny 1970s green suit with proper Lionels and lapels that you could land on in a Harrier.

That Arola is well named, isn't that the name of the ring around the nipple. You would feel a proper tit in that.
Where have I seen something like that? Half way through this short clip.

Admit it John, you'd love to have that weird yellow 3 wheeled thing on your driveway!

I'd love to have one, but it would reside out of sight in the back garden.

Lusting after an XR3 is a bit like looking at your missus' mother and thinking: "Do you know? In the right light, I could."

That's a great quote to share around the web. The Toyota forum folk will lol at that.. Just as soon as someone works out what an XR3 is.
The Reliant folk will like it too, but only once the regional committee has posted the letter - asking for permission to laugh - to the national committee and that letter has been replied to. Sadly, permission is unlikely to be granted, this because The Escort has too many wheels.
