Renegade/NatGeo may read it on here. They do look on this forum that's why I'm careful what I say before a particular programme has aired. Fuzz reads this so he may something.
What's this royalty's thing. I was paid a wage to work on the series and that was all. I suppose I could get some appearance money by opening Church Fete's etc but 99% of folks there will say , "Who the **** is the old bloke!"

Maybe not church fete's but how about auto jumbles / classic car shows?
Saying that I suspect 99% of people attending any of these will have no idea who the "celebrity" opening them is anyway. Next time you are in Tesco, look at the cover of any of the lifestyle magazines and see if you can put a name to any faces without reading the caption.

Cheers Terry for bursting my bubble! Every time the phone rings I think it's going to be asking me to appear on some chat show.
A few years ago at the Coys Historic Festival at Silverstone a few of us spent a very pleasant evening drinking with the folks out of the infield ticket office. The following morning we went to collect our passes and stood in a queue. When I got to the desk the girl the girl there said, "Morning Phil how are you this morning?" I said I'm fine and took my passes. The guy behind said. "Have you got my car park pass?" The girl said "Who are you?" and he replied "Stirling Moss!" All my mates burst out laughing.

Well Phil, One of you looks an awful lot like Guy Martin!

What happened there? The Viewer said we were getting Car SOS, the EPGs said the same but then we had something different. I enjoy watching the bike racer and all round good egg's stuff but was expecting something Ford shaped.

My EPGs on the TV and the Digibox said we were getting Guy Martin, although the Radio Times says that it was Car SOS. Channel 4 now says it is starting Car SOS next Sunday at 8.00 on More 4. What was the problem, can't they afford Phil's repeat fees?

Do appearance prices go up when you get given a nickname?
