If you are not an inventive type, it suggests something fairly simple like an item of clothing or some kind of accessory; nothing too technical.

None of those, but yes, something very simple, still in use today in their millions.
(Martin, I was inventive, but am really only known for one product)

My invention is invaluble for driving in the dark and really took off during the second world war when approved for use in blackouts.
