You really don't want to tell anyone do you? It's nothing to be ashamed of, it's not as though he's a footballer.....

I spotted a Vauxhall Viva HC at the local Asda this evening. I managed to catch the owner as he was leaving the store. He uses it daily. I've seen the car a few times before.

2 things strike me as unusual about that post.
firstly, rich has posted a picture and it worked,
secondly, the picture rich posted, actually works!
Just as well you didn't have John with you, he would have made you turn round and chase it.

When i was little, my Dad and me went to a scrapyard for a bit for our Bedford CA (pictured elsewhere on one of my posts!) and pinched a diamond shape badge from a Renault 4 grill and gave it to me . And i found it the other day .... brought back happy memories ! Later in life i bought a Renault 17 TL

.......Automatic and the same yellow as your digger! It had a full lecy roof and a black fibreglass hard top, I loved that car..

I was "delayed" on my way home by a slow moving Fiat Panda on an H plate. According to ASK MID, it is a " S.TACCHINI" which I assume means something to someone. Budget motoring from when it was actually motoring on a small budget!

I saw a tidy looking, brown Mk5 Cortina yesterday, outside Ebbw Vale cemetary. It looked like a 2 litre GL but I didn't see it for long enough to get a good look. There was a large floral tribute and a police witness appeal, on the fence of the cemetary, so I expect someone was killed there last Friday night (No damaged fencing or lamposts

). There a bend in the road and coming down the hill, it can throw the car and I shouldn't be surprised that's how they lost it. Hell of a time of year for it to happen but whilst this might be in bad taste, I couldn't help reflecting that they couldn't have picked a better place to be killed, than outside the cemetary.

Bad taste or not, that exact same thought had hit my mind even before I read your post to the end.
Today I spotted a mid-'70s VW van of the loaf variety demonstrating that no matter how refined their far distant flat four motors make the cabs in these, they're scary in gales. The owner was a very strange shade of green as the van slewed about all over the road but give it credit where it was due; it remained more or less upright which - sadly - was more than could have been said for some HGVs today.
