LOTUS MK1 CORTINA RESTORATION

Post pictures and stories about your cars both present and past. Also post up "blogs" on your restoration projects - the more pictures the better! Note: blog-type threads often get few replies, but are often read by many members, and provide interest and motivation to other enthusiasts so don't be disappointed if you don't get many replies.

No, they wouldn't do the chicken wire, they would just fill the sills with concrete as they use it for building car parks so why not cars?!?!
OR they would just buy another less scruffy example, give it a quick blow over and hope nobody notices.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I'm not referring to the "Period Correct" type of repairs involving two pounds of isopon and a 10 foot roll of chickenwire
Just spat my tea over the keyboard.
