Well its taken a while but here goes, I got up to this site today and as has been said, most of the collection seen on google maps is gone, BUT here is what I found:

In the entrance was this:

Moving into the field, one of two HA viva vans on the site (and this is the better)

Panoramic view of the site

I think this was a Marina van

An A40 Farina I think

This believe it or not is a Mk2 Escort

Some Renault 5's and Metro's

I have no idea what this is?

Bond microcars are supposed to be rare and this is the third I've found within 10 miles of my house!

You think this Transit is rusty?

You'd be right!

Racing onion

That badge said Fiat:

A snapped and collapsed Marina

This is one of about 5 ADO16's on site:

Now, none of these I recognise:

Yes, Chrysler Sunbeam and the "Bond" is an AC Invacar, one of the light blue ones that were said to have been rounded up and destroyed but are in fact about in small quantities in the hands of people who like to arrive in something a little less ordinary.

Thanks guys, yes I thought that was a Sunbeam, but when I came to post the picture my mind went blank.

Definitely an AC, I'm going back on the weekend so will check it out in more detail.

 A "friend" of mine is interested in AC Petites and Invacars, it would make "his" ( ) day if we could know whether this one has a steering wheel or handlebars, what sort of engine it has and how complete it is. Any chassis number and similar information would also be of interest. :ugeek:

I'll try and get close J and have looked up what to look for to answer your questions, except I cannot find any info on where the chassis plate is located...pointers?

The chassis plate should - IIRC - be riveted to the central area of the front bulkhead, somewhere near to where the front suspension and forks are attached to the car's frame head. :)
