On my way into Kidderminster this morning I saw a D plate Sierra RS500 Cosworth, an Aston Martin V8 (also a D reg), a Morgan, Aston Martin Vanquish, and a Morris Minor split screen, I assume there must be a gathering this week in Shropshire / West Midlands (they were heading towards Bridgnorth)

Spotted this peeking out from a barn last evening while walking the doggies. So much want!

Even went back to stare at it some more after i finished walking.

You should have a chat with the farmer and find out if it is for sale. If you send that pic in to PC it may be published in Rust in Peace too.

Would love to have it! There will be several more dog walks through that farmyard in the near future... ;)

Personally i'd leave it 'as is' (except maybe the bird poop!). Too many of the old Jeeps get restored to mint/'showroom' condition and locked away. Be great to have one that actually has a visible story to tell.

I would do the brakes and all the bushes but I agree that cars can be over-restored.
I know a certain forum member and star of National Geographic car restoration series that would be very interested in a partial restoration of it.

I'm a bit fuzzy about whom you are referring to?..

Although I'm sure our fuzzy member would be interested, it is Jeep guru Phil that would be most interested in the project.
Phil P wrote:I have 1942 Ford GPW which currently is a chassis with the front axle and suspension fitted with a pile of new and reconditioned parts painted currently being reassembled as a USAAF 'Follow Me' jeep or my 1944 US Navy Willys MB that was shown on Car SOS Phoenix Jeep programme with Tim Shaw?
Have you been for another walk to see if you can find the owner?

Not yet!

:D I was in the Land of the Dragon all weekend, marshaling at an event there (http://www.kingofthevalleys.co.uk/). Got back last night at 11pm, back to work at 7am.

Will get out there this week.

If you're lucky. I've sent loads in over the years and never had a single one published
