It can't hurt. You may be able to find an email address to contact them if you have a bit of a google about. It is surprising as Toyota do have quite a good reputation for customer service.

That shouldn't matter as many people prefer straight talking. Just don't ask Prince Philip for advice. But as I understand it, Japanese business moguls can read so you've nothing to lose but the time and the cost of a stamp.

No, they don't. It's a fact: People read the heading and the contact details at the end but the stuff in between may as well not be there for all the attention some folk pay to it!

ive been using car for work until last week when i got a puncture... put on the spare, it looks lost in the rear Wheel arch.. wifey has taken the Wheel to be repaired & it seems some kind person stabbed the new tyre with a screwdriver in the side... making it impossible to repair. estmate for a matching tyre €100+

I had to replace my Dunlops after less than a year as both front tyres had deep cracks all around the tread, £59+VAT each which wasn't too bad but an unexpected expense. (I replaced them with Good Year) 205x50x16. €100 doesn't sound silly money although I know things are tight. Have you had a look to see if you can find some part worns locally? I have bought whole sets of alloys with good tyres on to sell with cars before now as it worked out cheaper than getting a couple of new tyres.
