It could be because the owner is cheap and didn't want to pay for 2 new ones ;)

have been skint ever since... have spent all day driving round chasing clients & money....

The joys of being self employed. I knew there was a reason I stopped doing that a few years ago.
Good luck with your chasing. You'll have to buy a bulldog to take with you when debt collecting in future, that may get you some money in.

to be honest mate im getting a bit fed up with people expecting me to work for nothing, then being late with payment.. to top it all el presidete has increased my social charges etc etc & now i have to have a €2700 insurance.. its begining to get to the point where im earning less tha minimum wage.. im tempted to get a job & say balls to the lot of them... ive already been offered 2 jobs this week.. driving so i would be away from home a lot..

You are a bit far away as the brother-in-law is looking for HGV drivers at the moment.
It sucks when customers either disappear without paying or take an age and 100 phone calls to get any money out of them. I know your pain only too well. I had to stop doing it when I had 3 customers vanish in a month leaving me £7.5k out of pocket so I was forced to get a job. I can't say I miss the paperwork and stress but setting your own hours was really nice.

£ 7.5 k... ouch!! the hours are great i seem to work even more now than when i was employed.... & when i am home im doing estimates & bills
last year i hardly saw the missus & kids...







so its not all bad.... ;)

galaxy is back on form.. now the remote locking isnt working properly... ive changed the battery & now it will un lock the car but not lock it.. anyu suggestions chaps... ive already thought of dynamite :D
