The very best of luck with the new venture. Based on what I've seen and read in the magazine, if I lived closer, I'd be outside the door waiting for you tomorrow morning!!! £30 per hour sounds like a bargain!

Further still for me, but at £30 per hour  for labour carried out by people who know what they're doing, it has to be worth travelling.
That's seriously inexpensive.

I'm sure your bank manager doesn't love the idea, but I think it's great. :D

I really hope it makes you some money and gives you some enjoyment at the same time.

My Traveller is hopefully getting body and paint done later this year and some of the repairs required are beyond my skill-set. If I wasn't 15000km away I'd be booking it in for August or September now. My local panel shops just aren't interested in resto work anymore. Clipping a new plastic bumper on a modern car is about the limit of their skills anyway nowadays.

Best of luck Fuzz.
Despite the doom and gloom merchants it's not a bad time to start a business. I started mine in 1981 and sold it to a competitor in 98 (spent all I got for it now though :D ). A lot after the event, my bank manager at the time told me that when I started up, he gave the business a year at the outside due to the economic climate. Makes me wonder why the bank funded me but I'm glad they did.
At least you'll have the benefit of loads of "word of mouth" referrals.

BTW, always remember that the customer is always right...... a right what I'll leave to your imagination. ;)
