I didn't know Fuzz had left Westgate. I saw him at Stoneleigh last month on the P6 stand but I didn't get a chance to speak to him.

Nor did I until I was To-Ta at the Classic Car show earlier this month.
There is no mention of him on Westgate's web site now .. which could mean that the parting was less than amicable .. but will we ever really know?

Now if only the TV sidekick would depart then we would have a decent programme instead of the current 'Noddy & Bigears' antics - On another note Ant Ashtead & Phillip Glenister returned on Channel 4 last night with 'The Lost Lotus - Restoring a race car' which was very watchable - none of the scripted antics of Car SOS or Wheeler Dealers

Hat trick to Rich: Internet broken - check. Fuzz broken - check. TV broken - check.

Phil & Ant may be coming back with a new series shortly, the last one of theirs is currently being repeated right through (More 4, E4, something like that) and this has usually indicated that the audience was having its appetite whetted prior to the start of a new series.
Meanwhile, why does the Nat Geo app no longer allow hassle free downloading? I want to see SOS but will just have to wait for it showing on E4, More 4 or whichever side it was that got sloppy seconds.
Or will I? Get-iPlayer now works with non-BBC PIDs

(unless you're using the Windows version, in which case it doesn't

).. but not with Nat Geo ones it would seem.

Watched their "special" on "The Lost Lotus" a couple of nights ago. Not a lot of car restoration .. but entertaining, especially when Phil "found out" how much Ant paid for basically what was a rolling shell!

Hmm, sounds like a Brewer & China set piece then!

Still, those guys have to be setting a better example than Bernie and Leepu..
Speaking of WD, did anyone else catch the one with the Cadillac, new to Freeview yesterday? Although the fluorescent Kawasaki look may not have been to everyone's taste (I liked it, especially the quality of that interior retrim), the thing that most satisfied me about this episode was that Edd actually dug out the rusty bits from the roof, made some patches and welded them in. Stark contrast to his use of Cataloy and chicken wire on their much earlier "restoration" of the Mr2, maybe I'll revise my harsh opinion of the UK's answer to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito!
I just downloaded that Lost Lotus thing and shall look at that when the news is the only other thing left to look at. I'm eager to find out how anyone could lose a Lotus though, aren't they a touch too large to fall out of a holed pocket?
