one of lifes mysteries

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

I didn't think you'd have time to search for lyrics John. I thought you'd be busy watching "Saboteurs" on a constant loop.

If that's a bit too cryptic - check the listings for More 4 at 21:00 on Friday nights ;)

 Not too cryptic, no, but I only understood the reference because a well known forum member who resides outwith the UK messaged me the other day to advise that La Friel was appearing on the telly. I find myself watching fewer and fewer TV shows these days because even the good stuff - with old car content and similar - is becoming predictable, IMHO and so less able to hold my wavering attention than was once the case. I rarely miss Country File though, especially since Ellie Harrison has been a regular presenter.

Rich, you have to try this:

Copy and paste the song lyric into Google Translate and make the output Japanese then copy the Japanese translation and translate that back to English. Believe it or not, the words make even less sense that way!

The things I find myself doing..

OK, translation below. This is from English to Japanese and back to English and it's very useful as it tells us that the song is a fascinating tale of land deals, prostitution and low quality inner city accommodation:

Yo, I, what I really want, will tell you what I want
So, what you really want, tell me what you want,
I, what I really want, will tell you what I want
So, what you really want, tell me what you want,
I I, I really, you want to zigazig hectares you want to really, you want to, want to, I want to, I want to.

You can if you want a future of I forget my past,
If you want to get with me, better, it is done in the high speed,
Now, we are not going to waste my precious time,
We will get your act together, which just might be good

I, what I really want, will tell you what I want
So, what you really want, tell me what you want,
I I, I really, you want to zigazig hectares you want to really, you want to, want to, I want to, I want to.

If you are a my lover that you want to, you gotta get in the (recommended get with my friends) my friend
, It was confirmed that the eternal friendship that never ends
If you want to be my lover, you have to for you to give,
It is too easy to take, but that it is a way.

Do you, now, you think about that you know how I feel
, You are for real says you can handle my love
I must not be in a hurry, I'll try you
If you were really bugs me, I say goodbye.

Yo I, what I really want, will tell you what I want
So, what you really want, tell me what you want,
I want to have me, I want to, I want to, I want to, I really want to
Really I want zigazig hectares.

If you are a my lover that you want to, you gotta get in the (recommended get with my friends) my friend
, It was confirmed that the eternal friendship that never ends
If you want to be my lover, you have to for you to give,
It is too easy to take, but that it is a way.

So it's a story of up to Z from here, you can, if you tilt the carefully ears want to get with me
We have Em it anywhere in your face,
We got G like a like it on MC
Easy V does not come for free, she of the real woman,
In this way for me and, it appears
All of the wind around down slums and your body
Your body is winding all around down slums and.

If you are a my lover that you want to, you, gotta get in (located in the recommended my friends) my friend
, It was confirmed that the eternal friendship that never ends
If you want to be my lover, you have to for you to give,
It is too easy to take, but that it is a way.
If you are a my lover you want to, you got, you got, you are recommended
You got, got, slam, slam, slam, slam

Your body is winding all around down slums and.
We wound all around your body and down slam (Eetoeeto).
