GM`s are well known for egr issues. This causes rough and irratic running and triggers the engine management light. If not treated it gets gradually worse until large parts need changing

The Italian tune up already performed will help. I`ve seen more than 1 thread suggesting the need for a monthly tune that way to keep this issue at bay.
