mmmm 300 days of summer & no salt on the roads... No wonder that there`s lots of classics out there. Well there was when I visited in the late 80`s Heralds Angleboxes and the like.

No salt on the roads hereabouts either, not so sure we can compete with the 300 days of summer though but! :x

We have 300 days of winter, it's almost the same. We also get 30 days of spring, 30 days of autumn and 5 days of summer. the only problem is we never know when the 5 days will fall.

As ive previously said, i have a lovely imported MX5.
Early MK1 model, rust free and low mileage but sadly its going for sale in the spring as it spends far too long in the garage.
whilst it will obviously drive well in the wet, I personally cant see the point of driving it unless the top is down.

Plus, driving the Singer does it for me :)

You Lucky Luck Ba@sta@d, only 300 days of winter, I might have to move back southwards. I must admit I have got that used to the Far North that when we visit relatives at Christmas in Lancashire I can't get over the amount of greenery still about, it reminds me of Spring.

My big problem at this time of year is nothing ever dries out, if I leave the Mini outside it is permanently wet through, and if I put it in the garage even with the garage door and windows open it still doesn't dry. In fact if it is dry it then still gets covered in moisture if you leave the door open for ventilation. Tried a heater yesterday and its roof was still covered in condensation droplets at 9 o clock last night despite not going out yesterday.
