:D Oh great! :D It's turned into a "Bitch about the Yanks" thread! :D

Can't remember who said it but "We are two great nations devided by the same language.

So What is a "Fender"? is it a wing or a bumper?

Once we've put that one to bed...

"Does the high numbers of public gun ownership contribute to the gunshot death rate?"

Or

"The right to bear arms makes as much sense as the right to arm bears"

Discuss...

Then we can move on to the 42-45 war or the last couple of months of 1918 war.

;) ;) ;) ;)

I have nothing against any American people I have met - perhaps they are the more intelligent (or educated) ones though! There again, I find most people tend to be decent if treated with respect - and they respect other cultures! That rules out many Brits while abroad!

I suppose we Brits are in the same boat as the French are - English is ruining our language! in our case, it's American English!!

Isn't a Fender a make of guitar or a "buffer" thrown over the side of a boat when it's coming "alongside" to cushion the impact with the dock - or other boat?

Sadly, I find myself nodding in silent agreement at that post. :(
