As much as Hellfrauds rip off on parts and accessories, I must say their tools are pretty good quality.

They are indeed. I bought a set of their ratchet ring spanners a few years ago when they were doing them at a giveaway price, I still abuse those frequently and the only one whose ratchet I managed to strip (1/2" AF of course, 'cos those always break first) was replaced without hesitation by the manager at the local branch. Whether this was because the LEA bought many parts and materials from them and may have changed suppliers if they hadn't rolled over on that occasion I'll never know.

Apparently they're supposed to be pretty good on their lifetime guarantee, but I'm yet to put it to the test.

They swapped a long reach 13mm socket for me earlier today that was 2 years old with no quibble. I showed them the split socket and the receipt, the parts counter bloke just took a replacement from the display, scanned my receipt and gave me the new socket.

I have no idea where my receipt is, I have managed to snap the end off the short extension bar, I have a couple more so haven't tried taking it back and saying it broke.
