We were all sworn to secrecy about when Car SOS was going out for that very reason. Hmmm....perhaps I shouldn't have told you that!

I would never criticise another show, but being involved in a 'similar' show does give you some insight into what happens. I know how much Car SOS spends on doing a restoration.

Wheeler dealers pricing has always been fiction, it is amazing how many cars acquire new brakes or tyres without it being included in the totting up. Not to mention that apparently you can fix a terminally smoky engine in a pug 205 by replacing the gear linkage.

I see WD just as an entertainment show now, it's past it's prime. I find the subtle placement of Edd China's new garage website a little obtrusive and spoils it somewhat. That said I give them full marks for showing us that this country still has "blokes in sheds" doing both cutting edge and old skool technology to keep old cars on the road - you cant' fault that for being publicised.

I like his range of T-shirts and I have a grease junkie mug. Given that they are now doing 20k cars rather than £1000 ones, it isn't a realistic "do it yourself" type of program any more. But then if they were working on "every day" cars, I probably wouldn't watch it at all.

Nat Geo are missing a trick by not advertising them to the viewers

There is never an excuse for letting tea go cold, stop restoring cars and drink your brew! ;)

Maybe I should have phrased that differently.
I would have fixed the a/c rather than taking it out and ignoring the stupid stickers, I want that RX7.
