I will be there, stand number 19/100 with the Military Vehicle Trust. Only my Willys MB and Dodge WC51 will be on it as we only have an area 35 feet square. The first year we had 100 feet x 30 last year it was 90 feet x 45 feet. We have won an award both times. I wonder if we have upset the shiny shiny brigade! I did have one idiot walk past and in a very loud voice said, "These ******* things shouldn't be here this show is for classic cars not this ****!" I don't think he was too impressed when I said in a voice just as loud, "What a twat!" We won best large club stand that year. We had several folks from other stands come over and say well done.

The theme this year is the US Navy South Pacific complete with palm trees and, if I get time to finish it, a beach hut as our hospitallity lounge! Come and say hello.

Will you have to go on stage to show Fuzz how to restore a car? ;)

ooohhhh, suggestion for next year. Classic car live stage build-off. Car SOS vs. Wheeler Dealers.

That should be good, although Mockney will probably be stuffing pies down his throat in the hospitality area to do owt!

If you are going to involve Bernie and Lepu, they would need to have the stage reinforced to cope with the weight of all the filler they will use. I think they should be invited to test whatever automotive abortion they produce on a tank proving ground during a live fire exercise.

No I won't be helping Fuzz though I hope to go and see playing drums on Friday night around 5-00pm with the classic car show band. Fuzz is on the Carole Nash stand most of the time though floating around as well. Anyway Fuzz doesn't need my help he is a really good mechanic in his own right. I am just 'eye candy' for the wrinklies!

Hoping to get up to this myself.

Would it make sense to organize car sharing to get there or are we all so rich we can drive our own cars? ;)

If you are planning on visiting the auto jumble you probably want your own car so you can fill the boot with tat essential spares.
The Mrs insists on coming with me so my boot will be coming home empty unless she sees a coat she likes again in which case she will buy that and glare at me for considering spending money on tools :S
