Sorry, I don't understand ;)

When I drink coffee I tend to use Old Brown Java from Whittard with an espresso machine. it is lovely!

I use either a cafetiere for about 4-6 cups, or a little individual filter for a
mug/large cup depending what the situation. I haven't touched instant in
years!

It only takes a few seconds you lazy buggers! make decent coffee, instant with it's chemical taste doesn't do it for me. if I have to have it then carte noir is the best of a bad bunch. I started with "proper" coffee when work took away the kettle and provided a klix machine 10-12 years ago. I can't believe I actually used to drink it.

If I'm out, I'll usually have a vanilla latte, but if I'm at home 99% of the time, instant just hits the spot, and, like now, is done in however long it takes to boil the kettle, couple of mins if it's just me, longer if the wife and kids decide they want a cup of tea at the same time  We had a fancy coffee machine that did the lot, think it got used once or twice, and we had a tassimo thing not so long back, but again, used it a couple of times, and gave it away. I may occasionally push the boat out and make an Irish one, or posh one in the cafetiere if I can be bothered, but that's not a daily occurrence :)

Pay a few pennies and get a cafetiere and some decent Columbian coffee and you can make proper coffee as quickly as the instant sh*t.

With my various careers and jobs, I have been supplied with coffee that ranges from milk with a little colouring (from own-brand stuff) through to some quite sophisticated machine-made stuff. If offered a drink, I prefer coffee as a lot of people can't make decent tea (some even use dishwater from China :o ). If I'm lucky, they don't put milk in either beverage - if you can't see the bottom of the mug, there's too muck milk for tea! Even worse was the farm that sent out flasks of tea - with too much milk AND sugar!!

There is a need for a vomiting smiley!!

Father used to suffer more than many: if he went visiting, some people liked to be "posh" and offer coffee instead of tea! As you can imagine, he knew all the fields that had walls or hedges high enough to hide a vicar: instant coffee doesn't half make you pee when you always drink proper stuff at home!!

Me too, but I don't use coffee to make it as that spoils good booze.

The reason I enjoy my tea or proper coffee is that I very rarely touch anything
alcoholic! The alcohol either knocks hell out of my blood sugar levels or it
affects the meds I am taking so whats the point, I don't want be back in
hospital!
(yes I am usually the designated driver  but everybody gets home safe)
