sounds pretty good to me. you should suggest that you get a company car ;)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Could just see me in the Mustang..........

Yes the Roush plate is real too, I think this car is gorgeous and the noise it makes is out of this world. Makes a TVR sound serene

Back to the Aston and the Underside is nearing completion.

The under-arches were stripped back (painstakingly scraping off the old under-seal, welding repairs done before red oxide and seam sealer, followed by Zinc primer and a modern hard-wearing stone chip finish. This will all be wax-oiled when the car is finally reassembled.

and after..........

new inner arch splash shields have been hand made from aluminium and fitted using stainless nuts, bolts and washers. I was really chuffed with the fit....

All the hard work is finally paying off.......

At last, some further progress to post up!

Image

Brand new 13 row oil coolers and hydraulic pipes, back on her refurbished alloys and the hand made 'Vantage' grill trial fitted, a perfect fit, can't wait to see this car finished because my next project in another Aston but this one is silver grey and was apparently on the stand at the 1973 Earls Court motor show

Image

New brakes fitted, bled and working perfectly. Wheels now on and she can be driven under her own power for the first time in ages
