Apparently not. But while I'd be happy to admit that Innsbruck was technically the better car than the Avenger, it would be pointless to say it, especially as someone who's owned a Hunter with its cheap trap springs and found that the Avenger walked all over it in the areas of handling and comfort. Other than the time the rear lower arms broke (simultaneously and as a result of corrosion that would shame even the worst Innsbruck) and it was suddenly capable of moving sideways in a straight line, in other words the Avenger and Innsbruck weren't so different after all. Nil apiece at half time? Maybe, but don't knock it until you've tried a good one. ;)

Wow, what a beaut.I grew up with these cars.We used to have 4 of them .A cream/beige one, a pink one with vinyl roof and fancy wheel trims, a blue one that needed a bit of work bought for 60 quid and no logbook, but alas never went on the road, and a red one.Oh and another one on loan while there was repairs done to one of the other cars. I have a soft spot for these, and its sister car too.

Look at the shine on the bodywork......nice.
