Where are classics concentrated
Re: Where are classics concentrated
He has probably been abducted by the Battle classic car owners club who are concerned that he is stealing all the traffic from their website by posting pics of all their members cars on here
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Re: Where are classics concentrated
I've noticed a spelling error - it's Blaenau Gwent
, formerly part of Gwent and before that, Monmouthshire, which has now been resurrected out of eastern Gwent
. I wouldn't say Blaenau Gwent is a centre for classic cars, though if you go north, out of the (Former) Industrial valleys and into the Brecon Beacons National Park, you will see them (Though I suspect they may just be visiting). Just up the road from me, is a garage, where they have a few classic cars and bikes but generally, in the area, it's a bit half cocked and disorganised. As an example, there was a "Club", that used to meet in the Blackwood area but it went to the dogs, I think due to a lack of communication (Or perhaps more specifically, a reluctance of many members, to progess beyond smoke signals and drums, as a means of communication) and as a remedy, they decided to rename it. Since then, one of the major regional shows (And it really is a great event - http://leukaemialymphomaresearch.org.uk ... -car-rally) has had two enclosures for this one club, seemingly because a lot of members didn't even know the name had changed
The MG Owners Club, as one of the bigger national clubs, seem to have centres in Newport, Cardiff, Bridgend and Swansea and I think that's pretty representative of how it is in South Wales.

Right, I think I've managed to get most of it sorted out now (other than the front page, which I might change a bit anyway). Took a lot of effort to sort all the files out, and fingers crossed make the site a bit more secure.
That spelling mistake was due to me using an older back-up; I was sure I'd already corrected that.
JPB - do let me know if you find what you thought was similar to my W123 guide. Would be flattering if someone had plagiarised it somewhere. I tried to mimic the style of most buyers' guides so it might just be that it's a familiar style.
Cheers guys.
Mike
