I picked some wheels from a guy who had made a wokshop out of 2 welded together side by side and cut most of the wall between them away, it looked pretty good he had lined it with ply and fitted a new roof over the top of the two.

Local mechanics had a couple of these which they used as storage. They left a gap between the two, big enough for a couple of cars, and covered over the top and the rear of the units. Nice reasonably weathertight workshop it made so I hear.

One of the problems is when you get a cold spell, followed by milder and damper weather. The cold items "Sweat" ; in other words, the milder damp air condenses on them. You can get that in anything and I'll never forget the year I built my garage. It has block walls and a slate roof. That first Winter, it was hard work but the next year, I got a plasterboard ceiling up and that made all the difference (Don't ask me why). I also got the electricity connected up (I remember that day fondly.....first thing, on the armoured cable, was a socket, which enabled me to drill the holes to mount the fuse box and one wall socket and as they say about acorns and oak trees...), so I can have some heating out there but even without this, I don't get the problem of things sweating. I think with steel buildings, you need to line the walls and roof, with something that doesn't hold the cold.

Thing about my tropical location is that even the rain is warm, so I don't expect much in the way of condensation.

I might take a few sacks of silica gell and keep weighing them if there is no visible condensation as it can be quite humid out there.
