No K10 Diesel ever existed as far as I can tell from a trawl of the internet.
Is the last-but-one version not the first Micra ever to use the heavy stuff? :?

Same over in the RoI, anyone wanting a Diesel version of a Volvo 340 would have to buy it there and import it. Same for the Diesel versions of many cars, but I've yet to see a K10 or K11 Diesel, only the DCI versions of the one that looked like Mr Blobby would have owned it.
These, post-2003 ones in fact:

Mmmm, average. :|

Well I'll be buggered. Who did the French importers have to sleep with to get those? Why could we not have them in the UK? BUT.......... The K11 is a festering rust bucket compared with its predecessor.

I've just returned from an outback rally raising money for charity where the goal is to reach the end in $1000AU cars.

Two guys bought along K11 Micras this year and had few problems.

At one town (Winton QLD) a local suggested visiting the council tip to scrounce parts for free to keep some of the cars running.

To my astonishment I found an upside-down but complete K11 at the tip, which allowed the two K11's on the rally to strip it of plenty of bits to keep their Micras running. Both their cars reached the end.

Keep in mind this town is about 400km from anywhere and is only accessible via some very rough dirt roads. A Micra is probably the last car you would expect to find there.

Cheers,

And that's why it had been left at the tip; with no others around to keep it alive, it couldn't leave!
