ive used dinitrol loads of times in the past with great results.
the product i have used for cavities is dinitrol 1000, warmed in hot water before applying with a spray gun and cavity tube...it has great creeping qualities and really gets into the seams and nooks.
i have always used this elsewhere as a sort of basecoat to their black wax treatment (dinitrol 482 or dinitrol 4941) and again, it gets into the extremities and hideholes that can get missed with thicker waxes.

the secret for me is, as ive already said, warming the fluid up prior to application.
make sure you wear eye protection, a decent face mask and overalls. (oh and a tight fitting hat save your hair or head becoming waterproof!)

I always use Shell Ensis V. Unlike Waxoyl, it doesn't need the steel to be like split new before you apply it, it's cheaper and I'm convinced that its application by Dad in 1972 when he bought the 500 for Mother is the reason that the tiny Fiat remains rot-free to this day. That, and the fact that it's been in a dry steading since it was three months old.

Ask anyone who works at the Prudhoe plant and runs an older or otherwise long-term cherished car which product they'd go for and I'll guarantee it won't be Waxoyl, in spite of the staff discounts.

Best way to buy Ensis V if you don't want the 40 Gallon drums we - and other LEA premises - get at work is to take a suitable, empty container to your local chandlery and slip the counter attendant a beer coupon or two for filling it to you.

I know many, many folk who are delighted with the Dinitrol and it certainly has an impressive marketing strategy behind it, but before you buy it, check out the product ID codes on a range of "different" varieties of the stuff, then decide whither you want to pay more for the placebo effect.

One tip from me - check that your "Schutz" gun is clear and unblocked before using it with the can attached. :oops:
