I loved the 50's brake article..
Extremely well written, with lots and lots of detail and information in the text ... Some explanitory pictures to help ..
I wish some of the present day articles had as much detail in the text, as sometimes the amount of information is lacking and things needs more explanation ...
I like the pictures in an article, but perhaps not at the expense of well written instruction or help..
If I was in the market for a cheap 600 note classic, I'm not sure a Jag would be the first thing that would enter my mind... It may be cheap to buy, but thats only because nobody can afford to run it as a daily driver

I have not had chance to read it yet, as I only brought yesterday. But I did notice that nice Toyota Crown in the Readers' Cars Section.

Bought it on Saturday, read it cover to cover while lazing about at home (it was raining so didn't fancy working on the cars). A thorougly good read!
A proper road trip which was nice

, ANOTHER MX5, you only featured one last month and this one is only 13 years old.
Only thing i would say is in the letters section if that bloke's MGB has dropped 60mpg then he has a MUCH more serious problem than just igniton eg a hole in the tank

I was thinking about having my new exhaust ceramic coated so my question was answered before i asked it on here (where to get it done).
Rust in peace Number 11 should be in my garage rather than sitting outside. (I would love a proper classic range rover)
Definitely worth the cover price!

GranadaJack wrote:The story of the Datsuns being saved on page 17 has some incorrect details, it was not Josh Robinson (me) who saved the cars, I had nothing to do with them, I simply forwarded the pictures and details from the forum where the story was first made public. I found and forwarded the details of those who were responsible for finding and saving them to Neil Campbell, I never once implied I was in anyway responsible, I don't deserve any credit for saving the cars as I had nothing to do with them and seeing as the story is well known in the banger community and those responsible are well respected, this is going to make me look a bit of an idiot. A small note of correction in the next issue giving those the credit who deserve it would be much appreciated. Thanks for that
Many apologies Josh... we will correct this next issue. DH

Excellent issue, I haven't had the chance to read it all yet, but what I've read so far has been excellent. Please do keep up the good work.

Yes, they're becoming a bit pervasive at shows, last year we had twenty eight at one show and eleven of these were under five years old - in fact one was only three months old. Where do we stop? Mk1, Mk2, special editions only?

An intersting footnote from his nibs I thought.

The article on the Suntor camper trip to Germany was a gem.
