Not everyone who owns a Spitfire or any other small chassis Herald based Triumph for that matter realises that the steering column is adjustable for reach...that means that if you have longer legs you can adjust the column out to fit yourself in. There is 4" of in/out adustment.
You may well sit in a car where the wheel is close up against the dash for a sportier feel or look and find it difficult to get in or out...don't worry, I'm 6'2" and have the column on the Vitesse adjusted out- it makes a hell of a difference and it's no problem getting in or out.

The Spitfire is a slightly bigger car than the Midget (At a recent show, someone was asking me about a Midget and he said he wanted a Midget because he is short of garage space and the Spitfire is a bit bigger). At 6'0 tall, I wouldn't want to be much taller for comfort, as the seat is already right back. In the B, I don't have the seat right back, so there is clearly more room in that.
