fake moon tank cost all of £11!!!!
grant steering wheel
early 15" minx front wheels.
mondeo rears.
cut rear arches, and made, fitted extended rear spring shackles.
looking for a cheap ldv pilot or transit complete front beam axle. and v6 engine and auto box.

Big difference in those rims!
Why the V6? I know they're a bit thin on the ground now, but you can't beat the sound of a Rover 8

No denying that the Rover V8 is a great engine, but the sound isn't quite in the same league as that made by the other BL V8, the DOHC, 3 litre one found in the Stag
and some modified Dolomites.... Now that really does sing. Or maybe the small block version of the Daimler engine; hemispherical chambers, free-revving, small capacity, the descant to BL's tenor.
It's good to see that my prediction of 2008 is finally maturing and that gassers are making a comeback.
Just please don't anyone viewing this be tempted to use Dexion for the shackle extensions, in a field near here stand the remaining bits of a rolled Escort van whose owner decided to use the well-kent shelving product when decent quality long shackles from the local accessory shop proved beyond his limited budget, as did longer dampers to suit. Oops, over she goes....
